Should Jacksonville Jaguars Draft Johnny Manziel ?

Jacksonville Jags The Jacksonville Jaguars are doormats of the NFL, also rans, non relevant members of 32 a team league, third best team in their home state of Florida, even behind the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

With the third pick in the 2014 NFL Draft the Jags can change all that by sending the selection card to the commissioner with the name Johnny Manziel, written in red Sharpie in big bold letters.

Will Johnny Manziel be a great player in the NFL?

No one knows that for sure, but its a guarantee he will  inject some life an organization on life support. Jags fans have no reason to go to games, no reason to buy Jags gear.

Drafting Manziel would solve both issues without ever having play a game in the NFL.

The Jaguars finished 22nd in passing, 31st in rushing, and 31st in total offense and averaged just 15.4 points per game last season, so they desperately need a playmaker on offense, and there isn’t a playmaker in this years draft that has more ability to do that than Manziel.

He threw for 7,820 yards and 63 touchdowns and ran for 2,169 yards and 30 touchdowns while playing in the toughest conference in the nation.

Manziel is not a polished NFL prospect and he has some flaws that would need to be fixed, but Manziel would bring an instant swagger to the the Jags, even at 5-foot-11 3/4, 207 pounds.

Remember the last time the Jags were on national TV ? Yeah I don’t either,  but rest assured whatever team drafts Manziel the NFL will see to it that team gets featured in Prime Time.  The Jags have a decision to make for the future of their franchise and the decision is easy.

It’s Manziel at No 3
