Before joining Telemundo 47, González worked as a news correspondent for the Telemundo network in Peru. Afterwards, she works for the CBS network as a news correspondent for New York City.
Gonzalez has received an Emmy for her report on "The Miracle on the Hudson" and has also received community awards such as "2014 Latino Achiever Award," presented by ASPIRA New York. González earned a BA in Journalism with a degree in Television from Florida International University.
