'It' scares up big second weekend as Jennifer Lawrence's 'mother!' sinks

Neither did mother! really since it got trounced by IT as the horror film once again made more money this weekend than every other film combined.

The Academy Award-winning actress explained that she had a tent set up where she could escape the darkness of her new movie.

"When I was 21 or 22 I was like, 'I can't wait to be a mother, '" she said. Unlike her general sexy pictures, these innocent clicks are enough to take anybody's breath away. Lawrence simply might have a bad taste in her mouth that will fade over time... "Now I'm like. (makes shocked face)". Every time she rounded a corner or changed a level, there was something else unusual happening, and the strangeness compounded until it felt less like an odd dream and more like a nightmare.

With a 70% fresh rating from critics and starring Oscar-winner and supposed superstar Jennifer Lawrence, along with Oscar-winner Javier Bardem and the long-established Ed Harris and Michelle Pfeiffer, Mother! bottomed out with a pathetic $8 million.
