Popular Telegu actor Ravi Teja's brother died in a road accident

After completing the postmortem at Osmania hospital, Bharath's body was directly taken to Mahaprasthanam in Hyderabad.

"Bharath died on the spot due to severe head injury". The actor, 46, was reportedly driving his sedan at almost 140kmph and rammed it into a stationary lorry at Kotwalguda in Shamshabad mandal at around 11pm.

Tollywood actor Ravi Teja's brother Bharath, well known for playing supporting roles in popular movies has met an unfortunate accident in Hyderabad, his vehicle hit the lorry at Outer Ring Road, Kavvalaguda, near Shamshabad.

Reports claim that the actor is dead on the spot. The actor, 45, had been at a hotel in Shamshabad till 9.30 p.m. before he left for Gachibowli. The car's bonnet was mangled, both air bags destroyed and the steering wheel broken.

Bharath Raju, like his brother Ravi Teja, was an actor and has appeared in films like Aa Mugguru and Jump Jilani. Ravi Teja's family hail from Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh.

A case has been registered under section 304-A and further probe is on. The police were unable to identify the victim till Sunday morning as his face was completely disfigured in the accident. According to the same report, the cops have not ruled out the "Driving Under Influence" angle either as they have informed that the viscera would be sent to the forensic labs to check for alcohol consumption.
