Sega's Classic Games Are Free on iPhone and Android

The list of games is relatively short, but will soon include almost every SEGA game ever released from every console era - Master System, Genesis/Mega Drive, Dreamcast, and more.

Fans of the game have been taking to social media commenting on the release of these classic games. If you hate ads and/or like throwing money at Sega, each game can be bought for ₹160, which also adds local saves.

Although Sega exited the video game console business almost 20 years ago, its titles have spawned some of the industry's most iconic characters and has some of the most classic catalogs.

SEGA® Forever™ is a free and growing classic games collection of almost every SEGA game ever released from every console era - Master System, Genesis/Mega Drive, Dreamcast, and more. You can go download the app now and there will be a new game every two weeks, not including the five titles already mentioned. However, users will be able to pay $1.99 United States dollars to block ads, check online leaderboards, and have access to the cloud to save their game progress.

Players will be able to save their games as well as compete for a position on the worldwide leaderboard.

SEGA will let you store the game progress.

The release of the "Sonic the Hedgehog" app also comes as the classic blue character celebrates its 26th anniversary on Friday and allows you to play as the hedgehog himself or as his counterpart characters Tails and Knuckles while you collect coins on your way to take down the Eggman villain. Once paired up, it is as simple as starting up the desired game of choice from the Sega Forever Program with the controller synced.
