Borussia Dortmund are set to spark a bidding war for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after admitting they were willing to listen to offers for the Bundesliga top scorer.

Both Premier League clubs are believed to be interested in the Gabon global who ended the season as the top goalscorer in the Bundesliga, pipping Robert Lewandowski to the honour by a single goal.

CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has now revealed that the Bundesliga club is willing to let their star striker go, but only if they are able to get more than £63 million (R1 billion) for him. "This has not happened so far".

That date marks the official start of Dortmund's pre-season training camp in Switzerland and new manager Bosz wants a settled squad by that date and will not sanction a move for the striker beyond then, the report claims.

Chelsea meanwhile, are reportedly eyeing a move for Aubameyang in case their pursuit of Everton's Romelu Lukaku falls through.

The 28-year-old has managed a total of 189 appearances for the German giants in the four years he has been with them, scoring a resounding 120 goals.

He is now on holiday in the United States and met basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal - and he quickly shared a snap of the pair together via his Instagram account.
