As fans debate whether Katy Perry " s new song "Swish, Swish" is a diss track aimed at Taylor Swift (Swift. geddit?), a member of the "1989' star's "squad" has wasted no time in slamming it. "If as many as tweeted me bought her last 3. the'd (sic) be hits". Swish Swish, a collaboration with rapper Nicki Minaj, features Perry appearing to suggest that Swift should "retire" while also describing her rival as "calculated" and a "joker" as well as declaring herself a "courtside killer queen". Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Ellen DeGeneres, and Jimmy Kimmel may be known as the ultimate pranksters, but Katy Perry may be giving them a run for their money.
Katy released the track at midnight on Friday, and fans have already speculated that the song is in response to Taylor's "Bad Blood" single, which was allegedly about her. The second single she dropped from the album was "Bon Appetit".
Katy's head was covered up under a serving dish as she hid under a picnic table adorned with fruit.
As he recruits lucky museum visitors to participate in a video art installation by the artist Katheryn Hudson (Katy's birth name) out in the main galleries, we see footage of Katy popping her head up from beneath a blue-checkered tablecloth. "Swish Swish" is taken from Perry's fifth studio album, "Witness", which is out on June 9th.
