House of Cards actress Robin Wright has revealed that she was misled into believing she was getting equal pay to her co-star Kevin Spacey.
Robin Wright, aka House Of Cards' Claire Underwood, has showed off her age-defying body in a topless shoot.
"Equal work, equal pay" is something Wright knows plenty about. "It was just fair, on principle".
Starring as First Lady Claire Underwood, the on-screen co-conspirator to Spacey's President Frank Underwood since 2013, Wright believed she was getting the same wage too until she recently found out that she wasn't.
"The problem is feminism today is such a derogatory and diva-like word", she shares of her personal views, "(but) feminism means equality, period.
"Trump has stolen all of our ideas for Season 6", she said, declining to add anything further (because, spoilers). Francis is an orator, a poet, a demonstrator.
"It was daunting", she said of the experience of becoming well-known.
"Claire is an [ego] that sits in the back and directs him, but they are partners on the same plane". "I don't know what we're going to do, seriously". A request more legitimate but that it probably would not have dared to younger, confident that " at the time, [it] would never have thought that [she] deserved it".
"House of Cards" has earned Wright rave reviews and Emmy nominations, but the actress, who was primarily known for her work in movies like "Forrest Gump" and "The Princess Bride", admits she nearly turned down the part. That was a nightmare: you go into a go-see, lift up your shirt, then [someone says], 'Her boobs aren't big enough, ' and you're out... Although she did say that the writers have known how they're going to end the show for quite some time-Trump hasn't spoiled the finale.yet, anyway-she's still very disheartened by every piece of news coming out of the White House recently.
