Bloomberg further suggests that there is also the possibility that Apple would replace the costlier aluminium with stainless steel for the complete frame of the new iPhone.
According to the Bloomberg report, the company is now testing new smartphones, not one, but there are two new smartphones, aside from the iPhone 8, set to arrive this year. Recently, news said that Apple are investing to the LG Display for the OLED display, a flexible material commonly used for the curved screen like the Samsung smartphones.
Last year, Apple sold 78.3 million iPhone 7 and 7 Plus units, so racking up over 80 million sales for its highly hyped upcoming iPhones is an actual possibility. The new flagship iPhone, likely named the iPhone 8, iPhone X or iPhone Edition, will likely have an edge-to-edge display with a curved glass front, no home button, a dual-camera setup and possibly some kind of facial recognition.
Due to supply constraint, the high-end iPhone 8 handset device may be facing a delay of up to two months. Apple's iPhone feature and design plans are still in flux and can change, they added. This makes it look similar to Samsung Galaxy S8 design. Apple has ordered around 100 million panels from Samsung, the people said. Like the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus hitting the market this week, Apple's update could relocate the iPhone's fingerprint sensor from the front screen to the back.

Kuo goes on to explain that Samsung's inaugural adoption of a dual-lens camera system will be "the most important upgrade" to the Note 8, and that it will likely boast a myriad of advanced features including "3x optical zoom, 12MP wide-angle CIS supporting dual photodiode (2PD), 13MP telephoto CIS, dual 6P lenses and dual OIS". The current iPhone 7 and 7 Plus have single front cameras.
The company also plans of packing all new iPhones with the latest iOS 11 which will be announced this June at an annual developer conference. The smaller processors are more efficient, allowing Apple to retain its battery life standards while adding more advanced features.
