TODAY'S FORECAST: Mostly sunny, high near 45

Isolated severe thunderstorms are possible across parts of west central IL and northeast Missouri after midnight Sunday and on Monday, the first day of spring.

Monday: Sunny with a high near 93. High 44F. Winds NW at 15 to 25 miles per hour. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 43. Light south wind increasing to 5 to 10 miles per hour in the afternoon. Temperatures will start off in the 40's, but sunny to partly cloudy skies will warm us up into the lower and middle 70's. Mostly sunny, still blustery, with a northwest wind 10 to 15 miles per hour. Friday night, mostly cloudy, with a low around 49.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with a high near 63. Calm wind becoming northeast around 5 miles per hour in the afternoon.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 77.

Some weather forecast models are suggesting isolated thundershowers will be found around I-20 Tuesday evening. Mostly cloudy with a low around 58. A slight chance of rain showers in the morning.a chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Partly sunny with a high near 73. Partly cloudy, with a low around 65. Overnight lows will stay well above freezing.

Wednesday: A slight chance of showers. Chance of precipitation 60 percent. Right now it looks like most of the rain and snow will pass north of the area, but we'll track that potential through the week. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Saturday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. Lows 36 to 42.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible north of the front Tuesday night into Wednesday as boundary stalls across southeast Oklahoma.
