The 28-year-old who plies his trade for Israeli outfit, Hapoel Be'er Sheva was invited along with 24 other players for the global friendlies against Senegal and Burkina Faso on 23 and 27 March respectively.
Nigeria will face the Teranga Lions and the Burkinabe in upcoming global friendlies, both of which will be staged at the Hive Stadium in London.
Others are the Leicester City duo of Ahmed Musa and Wilfred Ndidi as well as Simon Moses and Shehu Abdullahi. The Chelsea star will be allowed to leave camp on Tuesday.
Though the fleet-footed winger lasted an hour against the Potters, he has been advised against playing in the worldwide break; a development that would not go down well with some critics who accuse Moses of being choosy in the games he plays for the Super Eagles.
According to the source, in the first batch are assistant coaches and administrative staff, excluding Enugu Rangers' Coach, Imama Amapakabo, who will likely join the team on Wednesday.
The friendly games are to prepare for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa in June and the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying double header against reigning African champions Cameroon in August and September.
