President Trump commented on leaving his weekend retreat in Florida aboard Air Force One.
"North Korea must understand that the only path to a secure, economically prosperous future is to abandon its development of nuclear weapons, ballistic missiles and other weapons of mass destruction", said U.S. State Secretary Rex Tillerson in Seoul on Friday during his first official Asia trip.
The only way to contain North Korea's nuclear ambitions is to eliminate the Kim Jong Un regime, the high-level North Korean diplomat who defected to South Korea past year told VOA, suggesting the USA should continue deploying pressure tactics against Pyongyang.
North Korea has issued a threat of nuclear war against the United States and its ally, South Korea, in retaliation for even the a misdirected shot fired in its direction during the war games being conducted by the USA and South Korean militaries. The test reportedly took place at the Sohae Satellite Launching Ground in North Pyongan Province.
North Korea annouced Sunday that it has gound-tested a new high-thrust rocket engine.
Earlier in February North Korea test-fired a ballistic missile, which is believed to have splashed down into the sea between the Korean Peninsula and Japan. "The world will soon witness what eventual significance the great victory won today carries", the young despot added.
"Some of these technologies which the North Koreans are including in their rocket expansion program actually have to do with a covert method of firing missiles without being detected in advance of actually exploding the devices. China has done little to help!"
The rocket engine test came hours before Tillerson met Chinese President Xi Jinping, and a day after America's top diplomat warned that all options - including military action - remained on the table when it came to dealing with North Korea.
Meanwhile, Khalid said the North Korean-backed company, International Golden Services Sdn Bhd, which was marketing a military communication systems product under the name "Glocom", is not a company involved in selling firearms.
North Korea is banned by the United Nations from conducting long-range missile tests, but it claims its satellite program is for peaceful use, a claim many in the US and elsewhere believe is questionable.
Tillerson called Japan America's "most important ally" but South Korea merely as "an important partner". "We believe North Korea has made some progress in terms of its engine capabilities".
North Korea also denounced the Central Intelligence Agency for its alleged monitoring of people through computers and computer-controlled appliances - a claim that is gaining support after WikiLeaks published a large cache of private data on March 7.
