Hollywood heartthrob George Clooney sprung a birthday surprise on a long-time admirer with a visit to her assisted living home in Reading on Sunday. "He bought a card and a lovely bunch of flowers". The staffer at the residence said that she was absolutely star-struck when she saw Clooney.
We are so delighted that Pat's wish came true.
He took her a birthday card and flowers, with staff saying Ms Adams was "delighted and surprised". Huge thank you to George'.
A worker at the facility, Linda Jones, posted a picture of the beaming pair on Facebook.
Staff had written to Clooney, who lives nearby, telling him a visit would make Pat's dreams come true.
Pat Adams told her care home her birthday wish would be to meet the 55-year-old, and somehow they actually made it happen.
George moved to Sonning, where he lives with his human rights lawyer wife Amal.
Last month, George's mother Nina confirmed that the British-Lebanese barrister (born Alamuddin) is expecting twins - a boy and a girl. How marvelous! My husband [Nick] and I are extremely excited'.
The actor said: 'We are really happy and really excited. "We've sort of embraced it all with arms wide open", Clooney said during an interview on French show Rencontres de Cinema.
