New images shared by Evan Blass reveal a few colors that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will don when it hits the market.
An all-screen front: The Galaxy S8 and S8+ are expected to have an "infinity screen" - one that takes up almost all of the front of the phone - according to a January report from the Guardian that cited several anonymous sources. His tweet shows the button-less phone in "Black Sky", "Orchid Grey" and "Arctic Silver" colour, with the difference visible only in the metal frame colour; while the front bezels are black on all variants.
Samsung is expected to host an "Unpacked" event on March 29, where it will officially take the wraps off the new Galaxy smartphones.
And, these new leaks hint us about the facial recognition feature that seems to be available on the Samsung Galaxy S8. Galaxy S8 could even beat Sony's Xperia XZ Premium, though taking into consideration the former does not have an exact number of frames per second. Now, images of the alleged Galaxy S8 smartphone have leaked, featuring different color options.
The Galaxy S8+ will come at 899 Euros which is roughly Rs 63,500.
In a report by Bloomberg, sources close to the matter have shared that the Samsung Galaxy S8's facial recognition technology can be expected to go beyond protecting the phone from unauthorized use, as its objective will likely be extended to mobile payments. Samsung is expected to keep the rear camera at 12MP. Meanwhile, a reference to "Bixby" has appeared on Samsung Italy's website, indicating the imminent arrival of the AI assistant. With the Galaxy S8, the feature will allow users to authenticate payments. The Galaxy S8 Plus may be similar in size to the Galaxy Note 7, which sold for $849, meaning the S8 Plus may also have a price similar to the 2016 Note smartphone.
