Galaxy S8 may feature facial recognition for mobile payments

We're quite certain that Samsung will have no curve balls left for the Galaxy S8 when it is released on March 29. However, a promotional poster of the 2017 flagship phone has been around social media, and Samsung customers seem to be pretty excited about the new Galaxy S8 (SM-G950). The device will also come with an improved S Pen.

Another interesting nugget of information is that Samsung will apparently have an upgraded iris scanner, after the technology appeared in the ill-fated Galaxy Note 7. Where it is reported by BGR website, Galaxy S8 pre-orders in Canada will start shipping from April 28, United States market will have the device on shelves at the same date.

The name "Bixby", was trademarked by Samsung recently and could be the Samsung's AI assistant.

In order to keep the handsets relatively compact, Samsung has made a decision to ditch the home button, and the company's branding will only feature on the back panel.

The Chinese market has more phones with 6GB of RAM than worldwide markets, with such handsets as the Xiaomi Mi Mix sporting larger RAM offerings.

Also may have battery size of 3,500mAh. Notably, Apple has already used pressure sensitivity as "3D Touch" in its iPhone 7 which was also developed by Samsung Display. It also features a Samsung logo on the back side. The latest set of reports confirms a number of theories and adds a fresh set of Weibo-sourced live images to the mix.

The results were apparently frustrating enough for Samsung to relocate the reader to the rear at the last minute. That's not much of a change from the S7, which uses a 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, but if it ain't broke don't fix it. The company skipped the launch of the Galaxy S8 handsets at this year's MWC conference, launching new tablets instead.

Everyone expects the Samsung Galaxy S8 to be a powerful phone, but it could be even more powerful in China.
