Two students raped another student in a bathroom stall at a Maryland high school Thursday, Montgomery County Police said.
The female student reported to school administrators that two male students had sexually assaulted her in a boys bathroom.
According to our newspartners at AL.com, police have a juvenile suspect is in custody. The victim was walking in a school hallway around 9:00 a.m. when she met Montano and Sanchez. Montano asked the victim to walk them, he then asked the girl to engage in sexual intercourse.
Investigators say the rape happened at the school during school hours. When she refused, police say Sanchez and Montano forced her into a bathroom and raped her inside of a stall.
On Friday, Rockville High School sent a letter to parents addressing the incident and the arrests, according to WUSA. Both face charges of first-degree rape and two counts of first-degree sexual offenses. Montano is charged as an adult.
