Bandai Namco managed to turn a lot of heads previous year when it revealed that longtime Street Fighter villain, Akuma, was joining the roster for its upcoming game, Tekken 7.
Bandai Namco didn't say from which franchise (s) the characters would hail, but it wouldn't be surprising if both of them came from Capcom's Street Fighter franchise. It will also feature an exclusive playable guest character that came from other video games' licenses that have a special stage and special costumes now and then meant for those guest characters.
The report said that the first batch of DLC for "Tekken 7" will be giving players more than 50 new costumes to have a different appearance for the game's characters.
We already know that Akuma from the Street Fighter series is a guest character in Tekken 7, but we'll see two more guests from other game licenses as DLC characters, according to Bandai Namco's latest announcement.
Looking away from the rumor mill and to what is now known, Bandai Namco posted up an update to its blog site noting all the new changes that will be coming to the game via updates and DLC later in Tekken 7's future. The benefit of purchasing the season pass - besides an expected discount versus purchasing individually - is 35 exclusive metallic costumes. All three batches of DLC will be included in the game's season pass, but can also be purchased separately. Powered by Unreal Engine 4, Tekken 7 sets a new standard in graphics quality for the series, featuring highly detailed characters and dynamic environments.
