Thomas Partey will face Ghana worldwide teammate Daniel Amartey in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final after Atletico Madrid drew Leicester City.

Leicester City were handed a tough draw, as they face off against Atletico Madrid in their first ever UEFA Champions League quarterfinal.

In other matches, Borussia Dortmund will play AS Monaco while Juventus are up against Barcelona.

Defending Premier League champions Leicester will take on Spanish giants Atletico Madrid for a place in the last four of Europe's premier club competition this season. Only the top three finishers get automatic Champions League spots.

First leg ties will be played on 11/12 April, with second legs to follow on 18/19 April.

Barca may feel that this is their year after a quite staggering victory over PSG; the Catalan club recovered from a 4-0 defeat in the first leg, prior to their incredible 6-1 win at Camp Nou.

Another of the tournament's big hitters Bayern Munich are also in the hat after cruising past Arsenal 10-2 on aggregate, with manager Carlo Ancelotti looking to lift the trophy with a third different club.

That team is, of course, Leicester City, who managed to overcome a 2-1 first leg defeat against Sevilla at the King Power on Tuesday night.

As per tradition, the quarterfinal draw took place at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.
