Madison announces fall dean's list

The University of North Dakota, Fargo, has released the fall semester President's Roll of Honor and the Dean's List.

More than 4,500 University of Nebraska-Lincoln students have been named to the Deans' List for the fall semester of the 2016-17 academic year. The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students.

To make the list, students must achieve a 3.25 grade point average and complete at least 14 credits.

Wendling, a sophomore Accounting major, was named to the dean's list for the College of Business Administration.

Several local students recently have been honored for scholastic achievents.

Lloyd named to Georgia State Dean's ListATLANTA - Alexander Lloyd of Middleburg was named to the Fall 2016 Dean's List at Georgia State University.

Any degree-seeking undergraduate student earning at least 12 academic hours of grade credit in a given semester may be placed on the Dean's List of the college of enrollment if the semester grade point average is in the top 20 percent of all eligible students in that college.

■ William Hardy Brewer of Rocky Mount graduated from Clemson University with a bachelor's degree in management.

Meghan A. Buggy was named to the president's list for the fall 2016 semester at Bentley University.

Students from Columbus who earned academic honors include: Jacob Anderson, Honor Roll; Mitchell Hasey, Honor Roll; Anna Lang, Honor Roll; and Christina Suchomel, Dean's List.

Georgia Southern University, a public Carnegie Doctoral/Research University founded in 1906, offers more than 125 degree programs serving 20,673 students.
