Granit Xhaka: What I really think about Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez

Posted February 17, 2017

You read the headline correctly, and no, we are not trolling you.

It will be music to a certain groups' ears, as a team of thousands in his homeland of Chile have had enough of their star man wasting his efforts at Arsenal.

Thousands of Chilean fans plan to attend a national protest march in order to convince Alexis Sanchez to leave Arsenal.

"Chileans are exhausted of watching one of our stars work alone so that their team can move forward", the description of the event said.

Capping off a disastrous 24 hours for Arsenal, star forward Alexis Sanchez may have just given the biggest hint yet that he could leave the club in the summer.

"We don't want him to play in Madrid, nor return to Barcelona, the truth is that that we don't give a damn what team he plays for, only that we want to see him fight along with 10 others to achieve results. I want to give the fans a new title".

But wait, as if all that's not amusing enough, there is, and we're not making this up, a protest planned against Arsenal, in solidarity of Alexis for Wednesday, March 1 in the Chilean capital of Santiago.

Sanchez has shown his frustration on the pitch a number of times this season and his body language saw him cut an unhappy figure on Wednesday night when Arsenal suffered a demoralizing 5-1 loss at Bayern Munich.

"I believe we have the players and the quality to win many things", the Chilean told Arsenal's official YouTube channel.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger on Friday confirmed Sanchez had flown to Spain as he has a court case in Barcelona.
