Conor McGregor Slams Countless Critics Of Potential Floyd Mayweather Bout

So there's your latest update on Mayweather-McGregor.

McGregor became the first man to simultaneously hold UFC titles in two weight divisions when he beat Eddie Alvarez in NY on November 12.

On Tuesday, The Irish Sun reported that the camps of Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather have agreed to terms for the prospective billion dollar fight.

"Listen Conor McGregor, if you really want to get this fight done. take care of your business with the UFC and then have your people get in touch with my people", Mayweather stated.

McGregor made his way to Las Vegas to finalize the deal with Mayweather but according to reports the official agreement has yet to be inked, this due to a supposed third party hold-up.

The Nevada State Athletic Commission already confirmed that Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather's team are already discussing the big event. Like, all these fighters: 'This union is gonna save us!' What do you mean, it's gonna save you, exactly? McGregor has never fought a professional boxing match. Boxing is limited fighting with a specific rule set.

But while boxing and MMA are completely different beasts, UFC women's strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk still likes McGregor's chances in a boxing match against Mayweather. The Brazilian, who was knocked out by Conor McGregor in 13 seconds in 2015, added that no fighter under contract with the UFC can go over the company.

"He is 40 years of age". He's a little, he's got a little head on him. Honestly, my fist is bigger than his head.

"Of course I would put money on Conor, but it's going to be a very hard fight".

Iole said only a "massive amount of money" would tempt Mayweather out of retirement. Jose Aldo is scheduled to fight interim featherweight champion Max Holloway at UFC 212 on June 3.
