Antonio Conte confirms that Dominic Solanke's will is to leave Chelsea

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has revealed that he expects Dominic Solanke to leave the club at the end of the season.

Dominic Solanke has only made one senior appearance for Chelsea after coming up through the youth ranks.

Solanke, an England Under-21 worldwide, has also been the subject of much interest from Celtic but it seems as though Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has won the race to sign him.

Solanke has spent time on-loan at SBV Vitesse who have a close relationship with Chelsea offering players a chance to get vital first-team football. Is he leaving? I don't know, I think this is his will'.

The youngster has been linked with a move to Liverpool, with his current contract expiring in the summer and an impasse hit over a new deal.

"I don't know [about his future] I should have a crystal ball to tell you about his future", said Conte. I wish him and his family athe best. I have spoken with him to try to understand his decision. We have to respect every decision about the player, but I'm not sure.

But Chelsea are refusing to meet those demands and are set to allow Solanke's contract to expire.

Although Conte is expected to rest several first-team players for the FA Cup visit to Wolves on Sunday, it is unlikely Solanke will be involved - with Michy Batshuayi likely to be picked as the lone centre-forward instead.
